"Very dark amber, pushing the boundaries of the style's acceptable colour. The aroma is rich with stewed fruit and a noticeable booziness. On the palate, it is sweet and boozy, lacking the expected roastiness of an Imperial Stout but still offers a complex, entertaining experience. The body is medium-high, with flavours of caramel, apple, raisins, and some chocolate."
