World Beer Awards Germany winners to be announced at the German Brewers’ Day in Berlin

For the first time, the country winners for Germany will be announced in Berlin, Germany on 10 July 2025 in association with the Deutscher Brauer BundOn July 10, 2025, The German Brewers’ Association (DBB) will be hosting “Brewer’s Day,” a special event dedicated to bringing brewers, politicians, traders, journalists, and writers together to discuss and celebrate the German beer industry. The DBB made this event happen with support from the North Rhine-Westphalia Brewers’ Association as well as Veltins and Früh brewery.
The event will be hosted at the Kulturbrauerei, a historic event space in Berlin, and will begin from 4.30pm. Here, the first presentation of the World Beer Awards for Germany will be presented and will see brewers awarded for their products across all internationally recognised beer styles. Those who do well in the competition are in with the chance of winning bronze, silver, and gold medals, as well as the title of country winner in their chosen style.
The evening programme for Brewers' Day will commence at 7pm, with DBB President Christian Weber officially opening the industry event. The highlight of the evening will be the awarding of the honorary title of “Beer Ambassador” to a prominent political figure. The commendation will be delivered by the previous recipient of the title, CDU politician Carsten Linnemann. The evening’s proceedings will be hosted by Nicola Buchner, Managing Director of the Association of Certified Beer Sommeliers.
If you haven’t sent us your entries for the World Beer Awards 2025 already, make sure you’ve done so before the entry deadline on 16 May 2025. Entries must then be shipped to us before 27 May 2025. The World Beer Awards 2025 global winner announcement will then take place on 13 August 2025.
