World Beer Awards 2025 German winners announced!

The German winners for the World Beer Awards 2025 have officially been revealed
We’re excited to announce that the full list of German winners for the World Beer Awards 2025 has been revealed! The winners were announced as part of ‘Brewer’s Day’, a special event hosted by the German Brewers’ Association dedicated to bringing people from all over Germany and the world to celebrate the country’s rich and diverse beer industry.

The winners presentation was hosted at the Kulturbrauerei, an event space in Berlin, and saw winning brewers awarded bronze, silver, and gold medals, and country winner titles.

All those lucky enough to have earned a country winner title in their chosen category will go on to compete against other countries in the same style. These winners will then compete one more time for the title of World’s Best per category. This year’s German winners for the World Beer Awards 2025 include Hirsch Kristall Weisse for Best German Kristal Wheat Beer, Pott’s Landbier for Best German Vienna Lager and Wolf Gang Black IPA for Best German Black IPA.

Anita Ujszaszi, director of the World Beer Awards, commented: “Beer proves to be one of the most popular competitions at the World Drinks Awards, what better way to celebrate that than in the country known for its incredible beer industry! It’s always a pleasure to taste and discuss amazing products with talented brewers, and to do so during the lead up to the competition’s final round is incredibly exciting! Well done to all our winners and I can’t wait to see you all for the World Beer Awards global winners announcement in August.”

With the entry deadline passed, judging is now underway for all regions of the World Beer Awards. The global winners will be announced at an in-person event on 13 August 2025. Make sure you keep up to date with upcoming events and announcements by keeping an eye on the World Beer Awards homepage and following the award’s official Instagram page.
